This is a different kind of review and is specifically for Phil Corker. In short, the man is a gent and scholar! I applied to WBS to get a price for my W205 C63s Edition 1 that I needed to sell – at least, what I thought was an Edition 1 – and Phil promptly got back to me to advise that my car was in fact an Edition 1 'lookalike', and worse still, was actually a Cat D salvage in its early life!
At the time of repair, it had obviously then been turned into an Edition 1.
You can imagine my utter shock, bemusement and anger at receiving this bombshell. Phil forwarded me all of the online checks, including photos of the car at the time of salvage (you could clearly see it had no Edition 1 exterior or interior features at that point).
For some reason, the Cat D alert did not (and still doesn't) come up on a regular HPI check, but does flash up on other checking systems.
Phil was very understanding and calmly offered me advice as to how best approach the situation and how it was more than likely the dealer who sold me the car were probably guilty of not performing enough due diligence (ie. going off of the HPI check and not digging any deeper), rather than knowingly selling me a Cat classified car.
I duly informed the dealer who sold me the car in 2021 and they've agreed to take it back (we're still negotiating a final refund price…). They have admitted full liability.
Moreover, as of today Phil has also agreed to run a check on the new car I want to purchase once I hand back the C63s as a goodwill gesture.
So even though I haven't had any financial dealings with WBS, I have been mega impressed with Phil and how he's handled the whole affair! 🙂
Thanks Phil!
Great service and all so easy!!! Alexandra is fabulous and so so friendly!!!! Thank you team.
We just had to leave a review as we were very pleased with the way Phil dealt with the sale of our John Cooper Works Mini. We only contacted him on Thursday and he achieved a price we were happy with by Friday evening and the car was collected on Saturday when funds were deposited in our bank account. We can't believe how easy it was, and Phil is a genuine, honest person. We have no hesitation in recommending Webuysupercars.
Car sold and collected in less than a week. Good communication throughout. Friendly and very genuine people. Happy with the whole experience. Would recommend.
Phil , Jasmine and Alex have been amazing. My partner sold a car to them in January 2024 and so I approached them to buy my Mini Clubman JCW. The offer was much better than the Mini main dealer. I sent photos and was totally open about the bits that might need attention. The handover was perfect Jasmine collected the car and Phil made sure funds were sorted. There was one repair which was needed and that was a new windscreen as there was a chip that had been repaired but the buyer required a brand new screen . It was challenging with the windscreen company ( not mentioning names here) letting us down several items and making it difficult but we worked together and it all came out in the end. Highly recommended
I had to sell my much loved Mustang due to ill health and this company made the process stress free and they got me a good price for my car. I can't thank them enough
I sold my car within a week and no quibble payment was received at the time of collection.
This company is excellent to deal with, everyone is helpful and efficient.
Thank you webuysupercars, I recommend you sell your car with them too.
Great to deal with. Got me more than Webuyanycar and carwow. Paid off my loan as soon as car was collected. Would use them again.
Very good experience – Phil was responsive, professional and easy to deal with. Entire process was straightforward, with satisfactory deal struck quickly and car collected the following day. Agreed payment made before car left the driveway. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again. Thank you.
Great deal and great service. Really friendly and efficient too.

History of Land Rover
Land Rover traces its origins back to 1948, when the Rover Company introduced the Series I as a rugged, go-anywhere vehicle for agricultural and military use. Designed by Maurice Wilks, its versatility and durability made it a global success.
During the 1950s and 1960s, Land Rover expanded its lineup with the Series II and III, refining its off-road capabilities and further cementing its reputation as a premier 4×4 manufacturer. The launch of the Range Rover Classic in 1970 revolutionized the SUV market, combining luxury with off-road performance.
The 1980s and 1990s saw further innovation with the Defender, Discovery, and Freelander, each catering to different segments of the growing SUV market. Land Rover’s ownership changed hands multiple times: BMW acquired it in 1994, followed by Ford in 2000, and Tata Motors took control in 2008, forming Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).
Under Tata’s ownership, Land Rover has continued to evolve, embracing hybrid and electric technologies while maintaining its rugged heritage. With models like the new Range Rover, Defender, and Velar, the brand remains a leader in the luxury SUV market, offering a perfect blend of refinement and off-road prowess.
